Commercial Questions
Something we haven't covered? Give us a call or send us the details.
How often does a commercial building need testing?
It depends on how the building is used. IET Guidance Note 3 suggests every five years for offices and shops, every three for industrial premises, and every year for places such as swimming pools and some entertainment venues.
Can testing be done without closing the business?
Yes. We test out of hours or circuit by circuit, so power is only off where we're working.
Do you provide O&M documentation?
Yes. Fit-outs are handed over with certificates, test results and O&M documents.
Do you offer planned maintenance?
Yes. We can schedule your fixed wire testing, emergency lighting and fire alarm servicing so every test date is covered.
Got a spec, a drawing or a test due?
Send it over. We'll come back within one working day with a view on scope, programme and cost.
